We had a beautiful fall day in Columbus this past Saturday.   There wasn’t a cloud in the sky while my husband and I enjoyed The Ohio State University football game.  I hope your weather was as nice as ours.

Recipe of the Week

Everywhere you turn these days it’s pumpkin this and pumpkin that.  Don’t get me wrong.  I love pumpkin!  But I thought we could use a break from it and came across this great post on Pop Sugar on How to Bake and Assemble Basic French Macarons.   They look amazing!  Have you ever made them?

Room of the Week

Head on over to one of my favorite magazines, Veranda, for a tour of this lovely Arizona desert home.  It feels more like Tuscany than Arizona.  Enjoy the slide show of 10 photos.

Fashion Choices by the Royals

Town & Country MagazineVisit  Town & Country Magazine where they share this week’s fashion choices of royals all over the world.  Sorry, I am not at liberty to even share a sneak peak of the photos which are owned by Getty.  Photos include Princess Caroline at her son’s wedding and the fashionable Queen Letizia of Spain.  The royal family of Monaco was sporting a lot of prints.  Too many for my liking, how about you?

Top 10 Ways Julia Child Changed the Way We Cook

The Daily Meal shared the Top 10 Ways Julia Child Changed the Way We Cook.  What I loved about her was that cooking didn’t have to be perfect.  Most people wouldn’t expect that.

I saw a video of one of her cooking shows where she flipped what she had in the pan in the air.  The food fell out of the pan onto the stove and she just let the show go on without skipping a beat.  She laughed, made a joke about it, picked it up, put it back in the pan and continued with her cooking.

Have a great week and thank you for stopping by.
