We had a busy but fabulous weekend and hope you did too. We went to a Halloween party on Friday evening (see our costume here), the Ohio State football game on Saturday (it was 78 degrees!) and watched two Cleveland Indians World Series Baseball games on tv. Our fall foliage has peaked so it was a fabulous weekend all around to be in Ohio!
Enjoy these great links from around the web for this week’s Worthy Reads.
Recipe of the Week
Nothing tastes better on a cold rainy day than French Onion Soup. One of my favorite cooking blogs is Half Baked Harvest. Tiegen creates delicious recipes and her photography is gorgeous. This French Onion Soup can be made in the crockpot! No need to babysit onions on the stove!
Room of the Week
I love everything about this gorgeous kitchen with a wood beam ceiling found at The Inspired Room. I especially love the clean lines of the waterfall edge of the marble counter. Do you like the look of the marble finish going to the floor?
Floral Paper Wrapped Boxes
Last year I shared some Gift Wrap Inspiration from Shelly with ConfettiStyle. She caught my eye again with these adorable Floral Paper Wrapped Boxes. So simple to do with brown craft boxes that you can find at Michaels and Joanne’s.
1010 Park Place – Classic Deviled Eggs
Last week at 1010 Park Place I shared my love of Classic Deviled Eggs and my easy to peel tip for hard-boiled eggs.
Household Winterizing Checklist
Head on over to Wholefully where Cassie shares her printable Household Winterizing Checklist that you can print off. For those of us up north, there is so much to do to get ready for winter, this list comes in handy.
Have a great week as we enter November! Thanks for stopping by.

Carolyn – Yes, I loved the idea of cooking this in the crockpot and not standing over a hot stove for the onions!
