I love presenting food in attractive serving pieces and one of my favorites are serving appetizers in individual shot glasses. I have also found many ideas at different catering events I have attended. At a friend’s winter wedding, they served a mini chicken pot pie in demitasse cups with a puff pastry topping. You can serve a specialty welcome drink such as a bloody mary or even use the shot glasses for a champagne toast.
With the movement for smaller portions and guests that are health conscious, this is a trend that continues to be strong. After all, calories don’t count when the portion is so petite, right?
