7 Stylish Staircases
These stylish staircases have inspired my remodeling project to take my stairs to a new level. I love the unique styles from contemporary to elegant.
We are in the midst of redecorating our home and our stairs are the next item to tackle. My painter starts next week and I can’t wait to get the project going. I’ll be taking before and after pictures and posting them once all the work is completed.
Stylish Staircase Envy
In the meantime I thought I would share some stylish staircases that I have come across. They have inspired me to take my staircase remodel to the next level, although working with my current architectural design and budget.
However, it doesn’t cost anything for me to dream, to look at other designs and to think of what I would do if I were building my stairs from scratch!
Architectural Details Are What Make These Staircases Stylish
I’ve always loved wrought iron railings and this staircase featured in Veranda Magazine is stunning with a contemporary flair. The design is so unique and I love the open feel.
Curved Staircases
Staircases that are curved become a design feature and not just a means to take you from one floor to another. The circular pattern of the iron balusters is somewhat whimsical.
Parisian Flair
The following staircase design in a Parisian townhouse has a brass and glass stair rail. I can only imagine that those stairs will lead to a beautiful town home with a mixture of old world charm and modern design.

Isn’t this staircase elegant? The delicate pattern on this Italian designed brass and iron rail makes this staircase simply beautiful. From Italy with love!
Thin as a Rail
I think the wire railings look great in a contemporary setting. It gives you a more open and modern feeling.
Clearly High Maintenance
These glass panels on this staircase looks pristine in the picture but I am not sure it would stay like that. That’s a lot of glass to clean!
