Reinvent Your Home Accessories

I have decorated my home with unique accessories that I have collected over the years.   Many of them are from my travels.  While on a trip in New York, I came across a pair of bronze statues that I fell in love with.  I knew I had to have them.

These tall skinny male and female statues have become one of my favorite home accessories.  I found the perfect spot for them on my counter in my master bath.   I look at these lean statues every morning as a reminder to eat healthy and exercise.

Home Accessories – Rearrange them for a Fresh Look

Normally I would not want to walk into another home and see my same accessories.  However, it was fun for me to see my statues featured in some design blogs.

I loved seeing them used in different settings such as on this bar hanging out with some gin and tequila and on the foyer console table below.  Damn that couple … they look good wherever they hang out!

A Change of  Scenery for Your Home Accessories

Seeing my skinny bronze statues in different settings got me thinking.  What accessories do I have in my house that would look good in another room for a fresh look?

There is no need to go shopping.  Just changing things around whether it be lamps, accent pillows, plants, artwork, etc., can give your home a new look.

This little shake up of your accessories costs nothing but your time.  Walk around your house and see what you can move around for a new look.

Look through design magazines and design blogs and see how they accessorize.  Get creative!
