It’s back to school time. I’m kicking off this week’s Worthy Reads with a quick bread recipe. It brought back great memories of the year I went off to school in Boston.
My mom made a quick bread for me every week and my sister shipped it to me. It became a weekly ritual to share her delicious homemade breads with my roommate and other girls on the floor. In fact, I would come back from class to find the girls in my room with the box, napkins and a knife, ready to dig in. One of our favorites was her Chocolate Chip Zucchini Bread.
