I’m relieved to have rain this morning. My day is a hectic one so Mother Nature is taking over watering my garden. We had a lovely weekend in Cleveland hosting my niece’s bridal shower.
While on the road we passed an Amish man riding across one of the freeway overpasses. My first thought was how lucky he was to be shielded from the horrible events that have been happening in our world lately.
I am always happy to turn off the news and social media to enter into my creative world. Enjoy this week’s round-up of Worthy Reads.
Room of the Week
I’ve always wanted a Butler’s Pantry – a place you can prep and prepare yet it’s out of sight from your guests. This pantry found at Design Chic also has a second refrigerator! My extra fridge is in the basement. If I had this my legs wouldn’t get near the exercise they do when I entertain.
Recipe of the Week
One of the best parts of summer is fresh tomatoes from the garden. Unfortunately we don’t have a garden but luckily we benefit from my brother-in-law’s garden and also have access to a great farmer’s market. This Rustic Tomato and Zucchini Tart from Lori at Recipe Girl is a great way to use up some of that produce.

I’ve always wanted a butler’s pantry. Actually, this could be one in a friend of mine’s home. xoxox, Brenda
