This post is about one of those OMG moments. It has always been a chore to remove stickers such as price tags, labels, etc., especially when they leave a sticky residue behind.
I have found the best solution that requires only one tool. No liquid mess, no scrubbing, and no chemical smell. Just a super easy method.
Using a Blow Dryer to Remove Stickers & Labels
We recently bought 12 new beverage glasses, each with their own little sticky price tag! With glassware, I usually just turn the water faucet to hot and let the water run over each tag until I can remove it. It’s a tedious process but it gets the job done. Not the best route for my nails, especially if they have polish on them.
This time I tried something new. I used my blow dryer to heat up each sticker and it peeled off so easily, without leaving any residue on the glass. OMG! It was so much easier and faster. Plus there was no mess!
Using a blow dryer for this purpose is ideal for most materials. It works beautifully for removing stickers off of paper packaging or books as shown below.
By heating up the sticker, you can peel it right off.
Instead of leaving a portion behind with sticky residue as shown below.
You’ll love this method to remove labels. Give it a try.

THANK YOU for this post. I bought a couple of dishes last week and it took forever to get the sticker off. Sometimes I get so mad that I want to take the stuff back. I do have to say I do not have any patience but is it really necessary to put stickers on that you have to get a hair dryer out to get it off. Now that I got that off my chest, thanks Elaine for helping out my stress, I will get the hair dryer out next time.

Literally five minutes ago, I threw out five jars and my hubby asked me ” Aren’t you going to save these?” I told him I never can get the label off! OMG…WILL DEFINITELY TRY THIS NEXT TIME! Thanks for posting!
