For years now I have been an avid user of the Houzz decorating app and have hooked many of my friends on to this site as well. Houzz is filled with beautiful photography and is neatly divided into categories according to the type of room such as kitchen, bath, living, dining, etc., as well as exterior views of homes, gardens and outdoor living areas.
You can search for products such as lighting or rugs, peruse rooms for decorating ideas or best yet, help your architect and builder to design and build the home of your dreams.
The app allows you to create an idea book where you can save your favorite pictures. You can also search for professionals and contractors in your area and also find products and prices (look for the green price tag in the pictures).

You can also find a great collection of exterior home photos on Houzz. The curved walkway and the texture of the slate add interest to this beautiful backyard. The fireplace is a great addition to the sitting area.
