Today’s post is the first on my new blog layout. Do you like it? I am one month shy of my one year anniversary of blogging and it was time to freshen up the design. Thank you to my web designer, Jordan. He did a great job incorporating my ideas into this new layout.
Gifts for Techies
I admit it, I love technology, computers and gadgets. Do you have someone like that on your Holiday Gift List? If so, take note of these great gadgets. They range in price from $7.99 – $199.
Tory Burch Fit Bit Necklace and Bracelet
For the techie fitness buff, getting fit has never been so stylish. This Tory Burch necklace, found on Elle Decor, holds a Fit Bit device. It sells for $175. I love the design. You can also hide that Fit Bit in a Tory Burch Fit Bit bracelet for $195. They come in gold, rose gold and silver.
Smart Phone Printer
This Fujifilm INSTAX Instant Smartphone Printer reminds me of the old Kodak Polaroid Cameras. Now you can take the photo with your smart phone and print them on this device. It sells for $199 and can be found at Urban Outfitters.
Cord Tacos
I don’t know if I love the product more or the cute name! These Cord Tacos neatly hold your electronic wires and are great for traveling. They can be purchased at CB2 for $29.95.
Cord Holders
These cord holders are so clever and something that I personally need right now. I am on the go a lot so I am often unplugging my laptop and other devices. The cords inevitably slide off the desk and go to the floor. These cord holders would eliminate that problem. They would make a great stocking stuffer and can be found at Blue Lounge for $9.95.
Face Time Tripod
This charger offers so many different uses. It holds its shape when you bend it. First and foremost, I think it would make a great tripod for Facetime. It’s imperative that the camera be held higher for a better picture. It’s not a pretty sight for the recipient on the other side of Facetime when you hold the iPhone camera down and look into it. Trust me!
This charger can be found at Photo Jojo. It is available for both iPhone ($34.85) and Android ($20).
This bendable charger would also make a great extender for the iPhone camera for a group selfie! But wait, how would you press the camera button with an extender? Read on.
Please, Group Selfies Only
I am not into selfies … but LOVE group selfies. Did you know they are now called Ussies? Loved this definition of an Ussie found on Urban Dictionary: A self-inflicted group photo; When the participant of a group photo also acts as the picture taker.
I have always been disappointed when we want to take a group picture and there is no one around to take it. Ultimately, someone from the group has to miss out and be the photographer. I am talking fun impromptu pics – – not organized group shots with tripods and timers.
I came across this Hisy gadget. It’s a bluetooth remote control for the iPhone camera. It’s only $18.99 on Amazon. No more MIA of friends and family in your group photos.
Turn Up the Volume on the iPad
I like to listen to Podcasts and video’s on my iPad. Often times though it just doesn’t play loud enough. This little gadget will fix that. It’s only $7.99 at The Sound Bender and comes in a variety of colors. Perfect for a stocking stuffer. For you Shark Tank fans, the Sound Bender was on the show!

Have a great weekend.
