Signs of Spring at Costco
While at Costco yesterday, I decided to walk up and down every aisle to squeeze in some exercise mid-day. The extra bonus is that I could also be on the lookout for any new items and also find some favorites to include in this post.
First, there were signs of spring sprinkled throughout the store. In the back, they had a beautiful display of blooming orchids for $15.99. Up front in the floral area they had a nice variety of tulips for $9.99.
I also spotted some forsythia branches. They would have been in my cart if I hadn’t already bought a few bunches of pussy willow last week at Whole Foods! I’m obsessed with decorating with branches as it is and blooming spring ones are my favorite.
Their premium spring bouquets for $14.99 were a stunning mix of chartreuse and purple flowers.
Costco’s Men’s Clothing Department Always has Great Buys
The men’s clothing area at Costco is much better than the women’s department. My husband is the lucky recipient here. One of his favorite items is their no-iron shirt! They are only $17.99 and an AMAZING quality. They have a great selection of colors and have both button down and spread collar styles. He always gets compliments on them and you would never know these shirts didn’t come from Brooks Brothers!
Their Merino Wool pullovers are handsome and are only $9.99. At that price, they are practically disposable after one season! One of my favorites is in the new color of the year Radiant Orchid. They also had blue, gray and black.
New Food Item of the Week
In the cheese department I spotted these goat cheese medallions which would make a pretty last minute appetizer with your favorite cracker. The package was split with half seasoned with Italian spices and the other half flavored with French spices.
It was such a pleasure to shop at Costco midweek without the weekend crowds. What great finds have you found at Costco lately?
