If you have followed my blog for some time now, you know that I am a huge fan of before and after photos. I love seeing the creativity that went into a project. Today I have a collection of 8 Before & After photos of small homes that were given a facelift. The results are amazing.

Small Homes Can Be So Charming

I have always loved smaller homes. They can ooze charm and can be so welcoming and inviting when done right. One of my favorite towns is Carmel, California. I can spend hours walking around taking in one quaint home after another. These facelifts will give you inspiration regardless of what size home you live in. Whether it’s a cottage built-in the 50’s or a newer home, just tweaking a paint color, landscaping, etc. can breath new life and offer mass curb appeal.

If you don’t watch Joanna and Chip Gaines and their show, Fixer Upper on HGTV, you will want to start tuning in. The home above had overgrown shrubs and boring colors. They brightened the home by painting it white. They also redid the windows on the right creating balance.
