Sometimes you just need a reason to smile and today is one of those days.  There is something about seeing a snowman in a yard that makes me happy.  Perhaps it’s the great memories of my childhood making a snowman.  Or maybe it’s just knowing that kids were outside having fun!

Since Mother Nature dumped snow on half of our country this week, I thought it would be fun to post about adorable and clever snowmen.  After all, when you have a snow day, what’s more appropriate than snowmen?  Have fun making some with your kids or grandkids or at least have fun looking at these clever creations.

The traditional snowman with three different sizes snowballs, hat and scarf, carrot nose and twig arms will always be cute; however, today’s snowmen have been taken to a whole new level.   I have found a collection of clever snowmen that brought smiles to my face.  I love to see what creative minds can do.  I hope you enjoy these has much as I did.

Note:  To make snowmen you need the right kind of snow. Wet snow is better than the powdery kind.  It will pack better.
