7 Ways Flying Messes with Your Body
I don’t know how pilots and flight attendants do it! I always have an adjustment period after flying to feel back to normal. This is an interesting article on how flying messes with your body from the Huffington Post. There is a reason why you feel sleepy on a plane!
This & That
A couple of weeks ago I shared Giada’s White Bean Chicken Chili recipe in my OMG Worthy Reads. I recently made it and loved the flavors although I wanted to share my tweaks to the recipe.
I cut back on the amount of cumin. Instead of 2 Tablespoons ground cumin, I used 1 1/2 Tablespoons. I upped the chili powder to 3 teaspoons instead of 2. I was afraid the cumin would overpower the recipe. I also added some crushed red pepper.
My grocery store didn’t have any Swiss Chard so I skipped that ingredient. I know it would have been great in it but didn’t have time to stop at another store.
The chili was delicious! It freezes well and will become a regular for my winter meals.
Have a great week!

I’m so excited to see all of the emerald green, it’s one of my favorite colors, but there isn’t usually much out there because it hasn’t been in trend. Love this series of OMG reads!
