When I decided to post about 2015 spring fashion trends, my heart screamed bring back glamour! And not just in fashion but also the marketing of fashion! I’ll never understand the bizarre hairdos and makeup on runway models let alone the outfits we would never wear. And I think we can all agree that the runway models are way too skinny. Instead of beautiful fashion, we have to decipher what the trend is and how we can wear it.
My grandmother had a beautiful boutique filled with gorgeous clothes for women and children in a suburb of Boston. The clothes were elegant, whether dressy or casual. They were well made and oh so stylish, just like my grandmother and my aunt who worked there. They knew not only how to dress their customers but also how to accessorize them. One of my favorite things was when the salesmen would come in and show them their new clothing line. It was my preview into next season’s fashion trends.
My Interpretation of 2015 Spring Fashion Trends
I did some research on what’s trending for 2015 Spring Fashion and decided to blog about my elegant interpretation. I then hit the internet, finding springs most wearable trends. My versions are a bit more classic. They won’t go out of style by next year. Let me know what you think!
1. Gingham
I love gingham but in all honesty, I had a hard time finding an elegant version of gingham. Gingham can be a bit frumpy if it’s not a pretty cut. I loved the combination of large and small checks on this dress.
2. Blue & White
Nothing pairs better with blue and white than stripes. It’s a classic. I love wrap tops as well. Wraps are flattering for all figures.
3. Black &White
Black and white have elegant written all over it. It’s a classic too. I am such a fan of dresses.
4. One Shoulder
One shoulder fashion such as this gown is subtly sexy.
5. Yellow
Although I love bright yellow, unfortunately yellow doesn’t love all skin tones. The way to get around that is to pair it with another color that is more flattering for your skin tone. Wear that complimentary color near your face such as this gray top. Black, gray and white always looks good with yellow.
6. The Shirt Dress
Shirt dresses are not my best look but if I were able to wear them, this Michael Kor’s dress would be on my list. The brown leather belt is the perfect accessory.
7. Military Green
Military green always looks great with a tan and gold jewelry.
8. Head-to-Toe White
I love the look of an all white outfit. It’s crisp, fashionable and always in style. Fortunately it’s still on the list for 2015 Spring Fashion!
Will you incorporate any of these trends into your 2015 Spring Wardrobe? What’s your favorite? Please share in the comments below.

I am so looking forward to spring and your fashion round-up has inspired me to starting wardrobe planning. And I love that black one shoulder dress. I designed a dress very similar to that and wore it to my senior prom in high school. Classic fashion never goes away.
Have a great weekend.

Pam,
CAbi (Carol Anderson by Invitation) has a very similar jacket. Our Zip Line Jacket is a shade off white, with a zippered peplum that can be removed for a bolero look. It is textured with a faint black grid pattern. Adorable. Would love for you to see it.
