I have never read statistics but I would think that shoes and purses would be best sellers in January.  It’s the new year and I wanted to spruce up my wardrobe; however, January is always the start of a new diet in an effort to get rid of the birthday to holiday weight gain cycle that I experience every year and I had no interest in buying new clothes.

With my birthday being in early November, it seems we get into a social extravaganza celebrating my birthday on several different occasions with family and friends, then Thanksgiving and on to Christmas and New Year’s festivities.  By January I am ready to diet!

With that being said, I wanted a new pair of sandals for my trip to Florida. I fell in love with these Tory Burch Sandals found at Nordstroms.  I loved the low heel which was enough to give me the height I want for casual pants and sundresses and the tan color was extremely versatile.  I especially loved the gold casing.
