My family had a wonderful weekend as we celebrated my niece’s engagement at the Ohio State/Penn State Football game and tailgating. Her fiance’s family are Penn State fans and we, of course are from Ohio! Friends and family came from near and far to celebrate. Merging the two families together was a win for everybody! I loved their engagement cake! So clever.

Room of the Week
I first fell in love with rustic elegant homes when I used to ski out west in Deer Valley, Utah. If you are going to be in cold weather, it might as well be in a beautiful lodge style home with fireplaces and gorgeous views. This large home is ideal for entertaining family and friends. Visit Style Estate for a 16 photo tour of this inviting home.

Recipe of the Week
This pot of Authentic New Orlean’s Style Gumbo would be a welcome meal on a chilly fall day. I love the name of Lauren’s blog, Tastes Better from Scratch.
Coffee Stain Removal Guide

Thanks for stopping by. Have a great week!
