OMG Worthy Reads Series
OMG Worthy Reads, Week 46
In this week’s worthy reads, you will find a how-to art project, clever kitchen tips, tour Tory Burch’s home, homemade peach ice cream & a decorating trend.
I hope you had a wonderful weekend. We enjoyed a trip to the farmers market. We dined on fresh gazpacho, BLT’s with delicious tomatoes and sweet corn on the cob. Oh how I wish we had fresh from the farm produce all year-long.
I will kick off this week’s Worthy Reads with a follow-up to a post I did this past week. Enjoy.
More Do It Yourself Art
Last week I wrote about Elegant DIY Artwork. This past weekend I came across this great how-to post from Life on Virginia Street. Sarah created a beautiful DIY Designer Inspired Piece of Art for her home office and I love the pop of color it gave to her charcoal gray wall.
It was so timely coming across Sarah’s post since I just wrote about creating your own artwork. Also, I recently wrote about Decorative Wood Paneling and her accent wall is another great example of how paneling can add character to your room.

Recipe of the Week
If you have never had homemade ice cream you are missing out! This Homemade Peach Ice Cream from Jessica of A Happy Food Dance looks worthy of splurging! I may have to make this with my next batch of peaches from my neighbor’s peach tree.
1010 Park Place – Dark Walls Paired with Gold Accessories
In last week’s post at 1010 Park Place, I shared my love of Dark Walls Paired with Gold Accessories. There is something warm and inviting about this masculine form of decorating. What do you think?
