I hope you had a lovely weekend. We worked hard in our yard but thoroughly enjoyed the end results. We especially enjoyed seeing these beautiful fawns romping through the woods in our back yard.
Enjoy this week’s Worthy Reads. Get ready! You will want to make the featured recipe of the week. It’s so good, I made it twice this weekend.
Voices at 1010 Park Place
Last week was my second post on the Voices section of 1010 Park Place, Eight Centerpieces for you Summer Soirée. It’s so easy to jazz up your centerpiece by adding fruits and vegetables. I love all the photos and think you will too.

The Most Colorful Cities in the World
Architectural Digest shared photos of The Most Colorful Cities in the World. The photo above is from Cinque Terre, Italy and is on my bucket list. How many of these cities have you been to?
Recipe of the Week
I made this Blueberry Crisp from Better Homes & Gardens twice this weekend. On Friday we went out to dinner with three other friends and had them over after for dessert.
We had new neighbors that moved in next door on Saturday. I made my second batch for them but this time I halved the recipe since it was just two of them.
The first crisp was made with blueberries from my neighbor’s yard. I love the addition of the lemon which adds tartness. Serve with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream. It’s so easy to make and the oatmeal crust is delicious!
Room of the Week
I have been searching all week for Powder Rooms with a Wow Factor or as I like to say, OMG Factor! It’s easy to go all out in these small half baths because of their size! I am in the process of redoing my powder room and I am looking for design inspiration.
Wallpaper has made a comeback but I am not sure if I am ready to go that route. I do however like this powder room featured in Atlanta Homes & Lifestyle Magazine. The gold mirror against the gray and cream is elegant. The wallpaper on all four walls is a bit busy for me. I think I would like it on the back wall as an accent and the other walls painted in either the gray or cream. What do you think?
Have a great week and thanks for stopping by.
