While I was recuperating from wrist surgery last summer, my neighbor Vicky brought me dinner. She had made a broccoli salad that was delicious! I loved the combination of flavors. It’s a great dish for summer entertaining as long as you can keep it cold since it has mayo. You can find the recipe for this delicious salad at Mel’s Kitchen.

I came across Errin’s Kitchen and her post on What Went Wrong? 12 Tips for Better Baking. My mother is an excellent baker. Although I like to bake, I don’t love it like I do cooking. Baking is so precise where as cooking allows me to be a bit more creative.

Whether you are in the market for a home or not, it’s always interesting to see which housing markets are hot. Realtor.com just published a list of The 20 Hottest U.S. Real Estate Markets in June 2015. My town of Columbus was #15 on the list. Did your city make the cut?

I found this lovely living room with a view at Haus & Home. There is nothing like a water view. It’s so soothing. The touch of blue brings the outside in.
