Spring is here – – The birds are chirping, the buds are appearing on trees and what I find most fascinating is the hummingbird migration. My first Worthy Read for this week is about the hummingbirds heading north. Enjoy these worthy reads.
Hummingbird Migration
At lunch the other day my friend Karen shared a map of the hummingbird migration for this spring. I found it fascinating and thought you would too. Recipe of the Week
I like to at least have one meatless meal a week and this Stacked Eggplant Parmesan from What’s Gaby Cooking looked worthy of trying. Eggplant dishes are one of my favorite and if it’s Italian cuisine, its sure to be a winner.
Room of the Week
I always thought that water views were the best until I experienced mountain views. They are just as scenic and so peaceful and serene. This great room found on Elle Decor by House Beautiful was decorated with neutral colors so as not to take away from the beautiful view!
OMG – This is the Way to Peel an Egg
Okay, I know I have posted different ways to peel an egg that we should all try. Well, I was still never fully satisfied as I still struggled to get the shell off without taking the egg white with it.
Yesterday, I googled Martha Stewart and peeling eggs and she had many suggestions, all similar to what I have tried in the past. Then I came across this video. A game changer for me! It was as near perfect as it gets! Nine out of my 10 eggs peeled perfectly and they made the prettiest deviled eggs yesterday! I can’t get over the difference tapping the larger end of the egg with a spoon makes! Watch her short video How to Peel a Hard Boiled Egg.
