24 Deer Resistant Plants
As much as I love seeing the deer in the winter, come summer time I won’t want them in my sight because they will devour my lovely garden! It’s not too early to plan ahead and this article found on HGTV, 24 Deer Resistant Plants has some pretty suggestions to keep the deer away.
5 Unconventional Ways to Display Your Art
I am always looking for unusual ways to display my art as I have a limited amount of wall space. I am fortunate to have walls of windows in my home but that means less wall space to hang my artwork.
I am a big fan of leaning my framed possessions on counters and furniture, against walls, mirrors and other items. So naturally I was intrigued and wanted to read this article from The Nest on Unconventional Ways to Display Art.
Recipe of the Week
I found this article Five Ways to Dress Up Quinoa at Food & Wine. I haven’t cooked much with quinoa but did this week when I made my Lebanese Lentil Soup for my friend Karen who is allergic to rice. She told me I could substitute Quinoa.
Quinoa is a great source of protein and has been touted to have many healthy benefits so I have decided to start cooking with it more. Thank you Food & Wine for the inspiration.
What to Remove First When Your iPhone Storage is Full
If you own an iPhone then most likely you have experienced this: You cannot run an update or even worse, take a picture when your storage is full.
On Saturday when I saw the deer in my backyard, I grabbed my iPhone to take a picture. My storage capacity was full and I couldn’t take a picture without deleting some.
I have also had to delete things in order to run an update. That’s why this article on Mashable caught my eye and I thought I would share it with you.
That’s it for this week’s Worthy Reads. If you enjoy them, please share with a friend. Never miss a post – sign up to have new posts sent directly to your inbox.
Thanks for stopping by and have a great week.
