I hope you had a nice Valentine’s Day weekend. With our sub-zero temps outside (wind chill is supposed to be -20!), I enjoyed being home all weekend.
I can’t believe this is the 20th installment of this weekly series. I have found some great links to share for this week’s Worthy Reads with three of them being things you can try at home.
Gift Wrap Inspiration
Shelly, the blogger behind Confetti Styles, has come up with a creative way to add ribbon to gift boxes. The boxes she found are so colorful and pretty, you don’t need gift wrap. I love using gorgeous ribbons and with this technique, you use less ribbon than having to wrap it around the whole box! Click on the link for instructions.
Celebrity Home of the Week
This week’s celebrity home tour is singer Cheryl Crow’s Hollywood Hills home via Architectural Digest. You can scroll through 21 pictures of both interior and exterior photos.
How to Peel Hard Boiled Eggs in a Glass of Water
I struggle with peeling eggs. Do you? This video I found on Huffington Post may be my new favorite kitchen hack. OMG! I can’t wait to try peeling a hard-boiled egg this way.
Recipe of the Week – How to Pan Sear Cod
Lent is just around the corner and it always makes me think of eating more fish. Loved this quick video from Whole Foods on how to pan sear cod. It truly is easy. The key is the right equipment, in this case a cast iron skillet.
President’s Day
Today is President’s Day and for those of you who didn’t see my blog post last President’s Day, I thought I would share it again. Presidents Wedding Pictures is a collection of photos of our Presidents from the last fifty years on their wedding day. Enjoy.
Have a great week and thanks for stopping by.
