October is here and I have yet to have my mums bloom!  I bought them at Costco weeks ago.  I have always purchased them in the bud stage so they will last longer.  I have never had them take this long to bloom.  To my readers that are gardeners, is there anything I can do to force bloom these?

My sister made this Parmesan Butternut Squash Gratin from Cooking Classy last week and said it was delicious.  Her husband gave me some butternut squash from his garden and I will be making this recipe this week.

I am a bit new to the Instagram game.  I’ve caught on enough to start following some amazing accounts.  One of my favorite is Traditional Home.  They occasionally have designers take over their Instagram account for the weekend, thereby introducing us to new people to follow.  This weekend award-winning Marie Flanigan Interiors took over and this gorgeous home office is one of the photos she shared.  It’s simply stunning, don’t you agree?
