I just returned from five days in Las Vegas. We dined on delicious food and wine, won more than we lost thanks to a group bet on a slot machine and enjoyed the sunshine. Who doesn’t have a good time in Vegas?

How to Travel in Style
On that note, I had to quietly laugh to myself as I saw some of the travelers at the airport yesterday morning. People leaving Vegas tend to look more tired than anywhere else I have been. However, traveling in slippers and pajama bottoms aren’t really necessary people!

We would have loved to have seen Carlos Santana in concert but we were a bit early for his November schedule. Since we couldn’t see him in concert, I thought it would be fun to see his home. Las Vegas has some beautiful homes and Carlos found one. Love how the back of the house opens up to the outside.

I like to keep my freezer full of impromptu dinners and also lunch size portions of food for my husband to take to work. I came across Giada’s White Bean Chicken Chili. It looks unusual and has Swiss Chard in it. It’s on my to list to make this week.
