Las Vegas Bellagio Fountains, Florals & Other Highlights
Vegas is so much more than just gambling. It is full of beautiful hotels such as the Bellagio that have gorgeous seasonal decorations.
We usually go to Las Vegas twice a year to visit my father who retired there. I enjoy walking through the hotels. Each one is so different.
I love how contemporary Aria and Cosmopolitan are. Caesar’s Palace is a great place to people watch at one of the sidewalk style cafes in the shopping areas. We especially love The Palms and Joe’s Seafood Prime Steak and Stone Crab.
Vegas is so much more than just gambling. It is full of beautiful hotels that have gorgeous seasonal decorations. It doesn’t matter what time of year that you are there.
Bellagio’s Dancing Water Fountains
One of my favorite things to do while in Vegas is to visit the Bellagio. Have you been there? It is famous for their beautiful dancing water fountain show. The water perfectly moves to music and its spectacular.

Bellagio Lobby Floral Arrangements
The Bellagio is also know for their fabulous seasonal florals in their lobbies and a spectacular display in the Bellagio Conservatory and Botanical Gardens. Their Fall Harvest Display this month did not disappoint.
Here are a few of their floral arrangements in the lobbies. Big or small, their arrangements are so colorful and elegant.

Bellagio Conservatory and Botanical Gardens
The conservatory is full of creativity! Lay your eyes on this floral masterpiece! Each miniature flower is so intricately placed on this canvas.

Hello Mr. Talking Tree!

This floral pony is resting in a field of mums.

The talking tree looks like a gentle soul.

Smokey the Bear and son.

I don’t know what you would call this talking green blob amongst the gourds . . . it probably would have scared me to death if I was a kid. Imagine looking at this, as still as can be, and all of a sudden it talks! Yikes! I would have gone running!

Kudos to the gardening staff at Bellagio. It’s always a feast for the eyes.
High Roller Ferris Wheel
There is so much to do in Vegas that I couldn’t blog about it all in one post. I thought I would share just a couple of new thing to do.
On our recent trip we rode the new High Roller Ferris Wheel. Each cabin holds up to 40 people and the wheel is 550 feet high. It offers a spectacular view of the city!

New Vegas Restaurant
The restaurants in Vegas are amazing. We always try new ones and this year one of my favorites was Bazaar Meats at the SLS Vegas (the former Sahara Hotel). I loved how unique it was.
They had large portions but they are meant to be shared. When you enter the restaurant you see a meat case with their current menu selections. We ordered a rack of lamb and a veal chop and shared it amongst the five of us with several side dishes.

Their house bread was ciabatta bread, sliced thin, drizzled with olive oil and lightly toasted. I could have eaten the whole tray!

We sat near the dessert preparation area where I enjoyed watching them prepare these gorgeous petite cups.

Do you enjoy Vegas? What are your favorite things to do there?
