I love the change of seasons and fall is one of my favorites! I enjoy the crisp weather, gorgeous fall foliage and football! Fall is still warm enough that we can entertain outside or at least get the party started in the fresh air before moving indoors. What better way to do that than to gather some friends for fall cocktails outside.
Fall Cocktails with Apples and Pears
I’m talking about apples and pears in sangria, martinis, cosmopolitans and other mixed drinks. Perfect drinks to celebrate the new season.
The following recipes will inspire you to make up a batch, gather some friends and enjoy some fall cocktails outside. These drinks not only sound great but they are beautifully garnished too.
Apple Cider Bourbon Cocktail
I love how this apple cider cocktail is garnished. They dipped the rim of each glass in apple cider, then in cinnamon sugar mix to create a cinnamon-sugar rim. The sprig of rosemary adds a pretty pop of color.
Autumn Spiced Rum Cider Cocktail
Spiced rum sets apart this apple cider cocktail from others. It is beautifully garnished with a cinnamon stick and star anise. You can find both in the spice aisle of your grocery store.
Honeycrisp Apple Sangria
If you have never had a honeycrisp apple, you are missing out! Sally used them in this fall sangria recipe.
Bourbon + Spiced Pear Cocktail
By fall my herb garden is a little tired. My basil and mint have had it. But fortunately my sage and thyme are going strong. Holly used both to garnish these Bourbon and Spiced Pear Cocktails. I’ll have to give this a try!
Pear Cosmopolitan
These Pear Cosmopolitans were made with white cranberry juice. I need to search the juice aisle the next time I am at the store. That’s a new one for me! Regardless, the cosmo recipe sounds delish!
Pear Martini
We have hosted several martini parties, complete with an ice martini luge. If we have another during the fall, this Pear Martini would be on the drink menu.
Which cocktails will you be making this fall?
