Jazz Up Your Wardrobe with a Statement Necklace
Chunky is in for costume jewelry and I have sought out some pretty examples of necklaces that are all under $100. They will jazz up your wardrobe for spring.
When shopping for a necklace for a particular outfit, take into consideration the neckline. Below I am sharing a great blog post from Imogen that will guide you on the proper style for your outfit.
Colorful pieces make a statement such as these red and turquoise necklaces. I have always loved gold and am thrilled with its recent comeback. Silver adds a contemporary flair and lends itself best to darker colors but can also be worn with white.
I recently attended a Stella & Dot party and fell in love with their Sardinia Necklace. I love when you get multiple uses out of something and this necklace gives you two necklaces in one! The chandelier type pendant is removable and the necklace can be worn with or without the pendant. $98
Chico’s has always been known for their chunky jewelry and the models in their catalog wear it well! This gold bib style necklace will dress up the most casual shirt and will look great with any color. $79
Steinmart is another great place for costume jewelry. This geometric pewter bib necklace would look great against black, navy or other dark colors to make the necklace pop. $49
Don’t overlook Etsy when you are in the market for unique costume jewelry. This turquoise slab necklace from the Etsy shop EllenGifU4U makes a very bold statement for $21.40!
I found this great blog post at Inside Out Style Blog highlighting different necklines and what necklace style works best for each type.
Will you be adding some chunky necklaces to your spring wardrobe?

Thanks for all the great tips on the trends of necklaces right now. I want to find the best necklace for my moms birthday. I know that she loves pendants and it makes me happy that you have that as a great trending item right now. That is a great way to buy a necklace, so then she can choose to keep or remove the pendant depending on the event. I’ll have to find one in my area.
