If you are a regular reader of my blog, you know that I am a self-confessed Costco junkie. I love the store so much that I even invested in their stock. It’s a pleasure to shop there, the staff is always friendly and they always have some unique items.
My favorite time to shop at Costco is on a weeknight when it isn’t very busy. I can take advantage of the empty aisles and walk each one of them as I try to reach my 10,000 step goal each day. The perk is that I get to see their new products or be reminded of some favorites that I love.
What’s Hot at Costco for Spring
Potted Orchids
You can forgo the traditional Easter Lily and take a blooming orchid to your Easter holiday host. The orchids will bloom for years to come. They are a bargain at $15.99. My Costco had racks of them.
Add a touch of spring to your home. Purchase several of them and place in a larger container such as this vintage silver pot for a stunning display.
Garden Gloves
Speaking of flowers, I certainly have the itch to get in my garden and start planting! You won’t catch me working in the yard without gloves! I actually amaze myself. When working in the garden, I can pick up and move a worm or swoosh a bug out of the way when I have garden gloves on. I could NEVER touch one with my bare hands.
I love these Wells Lamont garden gloves because they are a combination of cotton on one side so your hand can breath and some type of silicone on the other.
Non-Slip Hangers
I have slowly converted my closet to these non-slip hangers. They are thin so they don’t take up as much room as my padded hangers did. They have a felt like material on them so that your clothes will not slide off the hanger.
You may want to think about trying these when you are doing your spring cleaning in the closet. They are only $9.99 for 35 hangers. That is the best price around for these fabulous hangers.
Cooked Beets
Spring is a time to start incorporating some lighter food into your menu and I always enjoy a beet salad. Beets pair well with oranges, arugula, sweet Vidalia onions and so many other things. As much as I like beets, I don’t like preparing them from scratch. These all natural beets from Costco fit the bill.
I’ve not used fresh fennel in my cooking but want to try this Blood Orange, Beet and Fennel Salad that I found on Bon Apetit.
Greek Olives and Feta Cubes
If you are looking for a quick appetizer, try these olives and cubes of feta.
I love the idea of serving them as individual shooters as shown below.
Basil Pesto
I can eat pesto by the spoonful. The flavor is amazing. That’s why I love this appetizer that my friend Karen came up with. Serve pesto in shot glasses with bread sticks.
These square shot glasses and beaded tray are available at Tabletop Trends. Enjoy a 20% discount with Coupon Code OMG20.
Organic Fresh Spaghetti
A simple and delicious dinner is to add pesto to cooked spaghetti. Top with fresh parmesan, crushed red pepper and lots of toasted pine nuts. I like to thin the pesto out with some extra virgin olive oil.
Artichoke Crostini
If you are a fan of artichokes, than you will love this dip and how to dress it up for a quick appetizer. I add chopped red onion and some shredded Romano cheese to the dip. Spread it on crostini bread and bake at 350 until bubbly. It’s so delicious and everyone will be asking you for the recipe. It’s almost embarrassing to tell them how simple it is!

This dip is also great as is with Stacy’sBaked Pita Chips which you can also get at Costco.
Manchego Cheese
I remember the first time I had Machego cheese. I was attending a wedding reception in beautiful Sonoma. The food at this wedding was not only delicious but beautifully displayed.
They served a huge chunk of Manchego cheese with Marcona almonds spilling out over the board and fresh grapes. It was so simple but the flavors together were fabulous.
If you haven’t had Manchego cheese, you must try it! If you wrap the cheese well, it will last in the fridge for a long time. I often have a slice with an apple for my afternoon snack. Costco also carries delicious Marcona almonds.
Medjool Dates
Medjool dates are so versatile. You can use them in both sweet and savory dishes. They are delicious in appetizers, cut up in salads or in any kind of bar or cookie.
Manchego Cheese & Medjool Dates
Manchego Cheese and Medjool Dates are the perfect combination. Sweet, salty and chewy.
These Maple Bacon-Wrapped Dates with Manchego Cheese from the Daily Meal sound delicious.
Those are some of my favorite Costco finds for Spring. What have you found there lately? Please share in the comments below.

I have never seen that low of a price on the non-slip hangers – I love them too! I love Costco pesto, and now I want to try some of the fresh spaghetti with it! Thanks for the great ideas for my next Costco trip!

A lot of these are my favourites as well – but the prices are more expensive in Canada than the U.S.
Love Costco anyway:) We go at least once a week.
