Chocolate is one of those nouns that has an endless list of descriptive adjectives.  Creamy.  Decadent.  Delicious.  Rich.  Smooth.  Other adjectives include white, dark, milk, semi or bittersweet.  It may be imported Belgian or Swiss Chocolate.  Brands market chocolate as famous, finest and special.  The list goes on.

Chocolate Desserts Worth Making

Interestingly enough, it wasn’t any of those adjectives that attracted me to these three Chocolate Desserts.  There were other descriptions that caught my interest.

The Best Chocolate Mousse of Your Life in Under 5 Minutes

The Best Chocolate Mousse of Your Life in Under 5 Minutes and only 2 ingredients! Read the post for more chocolate desserts worth trying.

As if Cafe Fernando’s descriptive title wasn’t enough.  Of course I want to try the “Best mousse of my life” but I also liked that it can be made in “under five minutes“.  Right up my ally.  A quick dessert that wasn’t too labor intensive.

But wait.  There is more!  When I read the recipe I was intrigued that it only had two ingredients.  Yes, it only takes two ingredients to make this decadent mousse.  Chocolate and water.  Water?  Who knew?   Click on their link for the recipe (located just before their comment section towards the bottom).

You can also see the You Tube Video by Heston Blumenthal showing how it’s made.

I don’t know about you but I haven’t met a soufflé I didn’t like.

Christy from The Girl Who Ate Everything shared Roy’s Chocolate Soufflé recipe on her blog.  I have had this dessert at one of our Supper Club dinners and it is delicious!  The recipe is from the famous restaurant Roy’s in Hawaii.

Christy loved it so much she wrote to the restaurant asking for the recipe.  I felt the same when I had the dessert and our hostess gave it to me.

Extreme Chocolate Cheesecake

One of my favorite cooking magazines, Fine Cooking, shared their Chocolate Cheesecake dessert which was described as decadent, rich, creamy and no fail.  Don’t you love seeing the words “no fail” as part of a recipe?  It certainly gives confidence to the non-bakers.  I love to cook but am not much of a baker.

I always enjoy reading recipe reviews on cooking sites.  The reviewers for this recipe not only raved about it but also shared substitutions they made for the chocolate wafers for the crust.  Things like that are nice to know if you can’t find a specific ingredient.

There you have it.  Three chocolate desserts worth trying.  Let me know if you make any of these.
