OMG Worthy Reads, Week 59
In this week’s worthy reads you will find a Pork Marsala recipe, how to share photos on iPhones, a tip on how to store celery and a handsome master bedroom.
We just returned from a wonderful trip to Las Vegas, celebrating my dad’s birthday. Vegas is home to so many fabulous restaurants. There are two that I would highly recommend; Lavo Italian Restaurant in the Palazzo Hotel and Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse at Town Square.
Following are my picks for this week’s Worthy Reads. Enjoy.
I Was Published in The Huffington Post
This past week was an exciting one for me. My post on How to Glam Up Your Thanksgiving Table was featured in The Huffington Post! We had just arrived in Las Vegas and I received the email from the Editor letting me know it was published! If you haven’t seen it yet, click on the link above for inspiration on how to dress up your Thanksgiving table.
Recipe of the Week
This recipe from First Home Love Life for Pork Marsala with Mushrooms and Shallots sounds like the perfect winter meal. The recipe calls for boneless center cut pork chops but I am going to try it using pork tenderloin, cut into medallions and pounded thin. Pork tenderloin is so tender and it makes great cutlets.
Room of the Week
This bold master bedroom with dark walls and monogrammed bedding is so handsome! The smoky mirror behind the nightstand is great for reflecting light from the lamp. Everything is so well done, don’t you agree?

Pop Sugar’s article No One Knows How to Use This Genius iOS Feature is all about Air Drop. It’s a wonderful feature on our iPhone and iPad that my sister and I used this past week in Vegas to share photos. Do you use it?
