Elegant Easter Brunch Menu

Easter Brunch is a great way to celebrate the holiday. Brunch is the divine mixture of sweet and savory and the best of both breakfast and lunch.

I enjoy gathering family and friends for Easter Brunch instead of a heavy afternoon or evening meal.  Brunch is the divine mixture of sweet and savory and the best of both breakfast and lunch.  It is also one of the easiest ways to entertain.  A lot of the recipes can be made in advance.  These recipes will also inspire you to garnish your dishes for an elegant presentation.  Garnishing is so easy to do.

Last week I shared some stylish ways to decorate your Easter table.  Now let’s talk about the menu!  Be prepared – – these recipes are mouth-watering!

Menu Planning

When planning your menu, choose seasonal foods such as asparagus and strawberries along with holiday specialties such as lamb or ham.

Try to find some dishes that you can prepare ahead of time such as an overnight french toast dish.

If you would like to serve a side of crispy bacon, prepare it on a rack in the oven or directly on parchment paper.  It won’t make a mess and you can make a large batch at one time.  Here are Martha Stewart’s instructions.

Easter Brunch Beverages

I love to start my parties with a signature drink.  You can’t host a brunch without serving either Mimosas or Bloody Marys . . . it just wouldn’t seem right!

Orzo salad is a personal favorite of mine.  It’s easy to prepare.  You can cook the orzo the day before and store in a zip lock bag with a little olive oil.  Add the remaining ingredients the day of the brunch.

Instead of the traditional leg of lamb, cut a rack of lamb into individual chops or “lollipops”.
