Bringing Spring Branches Indoors
Personally it doesn’t matter what season it is as I like to use branches in decorating all year-long. (Decorating with branches is second in line to my animal print obsession). In my great room I have an oversized ceramic vase filled with curly willow that has permanent residence on my sofa table.
Spring blooms though are some of my favorite branches. I currently have pussy willows displayed in two areas of my home. They were only $3-4 per bunch at Whole Foods and three bunches pack a punch of spring on my home office desk. It reminds me that spring is on its way!
9 Spring Branch Beauties
I wanted to share these beautiful photos for some decorating inspiration. In honor of cherry blossom season, I found a spectacular display of them grouped in an oriental blue and white pot.
I also love forsythia branches. Nothing brightens a room after winter like fresh forsythia in bloom. On my last trip to Costco, I saw that they had forsythia in their floral department. Unfortunately though, you would need your own personal forsythia shrub to have this breathtaking display!
Enjoy browsing through these pictures and be inspired to add some spring branches to your decor.
Note: Once your blooms have dropped off your spring branches, they will still look good. If you don’t want to display the bare branches, save them for future floral arrangements. They are great for adding height to your display.
